AMA 2020: The Weeknd, Justin Bieber e Taylor Swift são destaques da premiação

O evento contou com grandes nomes da música; confira lista completa de vencedores

A 48ª edição do American Music Awards foi realizada nesse domingo, 22, em um formato diferente do usual, devido à pandemia do novo coronavírus. The Weeknd, que era líder de indicações, foi um dos mais premiados do evento, junto à Taylor Swift e Justin Bieber.

Abel levou o prêmio de "Artista de Soul/R&B Favorito", "Álbum de Soul/R&B Favorito" e "Música de Soul/R&B Favorita", por Heartless. Justin Bieber foi coroado nas categorias de “Artista Pop/Rock Masculino Favorito”, "Colaboração do Ano", com a parceria de 10,000 Hours com Dan + shay, e a mesma canção ainda levou o prêmio de  "Música Country Favorita”.

Já Taylor Swift ganhou um dos prêmios mais importantes do evento, de "Artista do Ano", "Artista Pop/Rock Feminina Favorita" e "Clipe Favorito" com Cardigan. Ela não esteve no evento, mas justificou sua ausência por estar regravando suas músicas antigas após o empresário Scooter Braun ter vendido. “A razão pela qual não estou aí esta noite é porque estou gravando todas as minhas antigas músicas no estúdio onde elas foram originalmente gravadas", afirmou a cantora.
